Renovation Week 2 - Stage 1: Demolition

Galatians 2:18-21
If I rebuild those things that I tore down, I show myself to be a lawbreaker. For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
Prayer Prompts
As you spend time in prayer this week, ask God to speak to you from Galatians 2. Thinking of the context of this passage, allow the Holy Spirit to direct you to a single word from the text each day this week.
Meditate upon Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. Soak in what he took on for you and what is now available to you by his Spirit.
Respond to him for this gift. Thank him for what the law revealed about human kind and more so for the hope and life he affords through Jesus.
What has he torn down that you now find freedom from and how can you respond in prayer?
Is he revealing a new barrier or idol that needs to be DEMOLISHED to make room?
PRAYER STARTER: Lord Jesus, I lift my eyes to you and shout praises! You are the one who sets me free. On my own I am destined to be crushed under the law, but you make a way out! A way to life and freedom. You alone provide hope. I can do nothing but respond with a grateful heart. I cry out to you...
