Renovation Week 4 - Stage 3: Construction

Ephesians 2:1-10
And you were dead in your trespasses and sins 2 in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient.[a] 3 We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us,[b] 5 made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! 6 He also raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might display the immeasurable riches of his grace through his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— 9 not from works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.
Prayer Prompts
Take some time to walk with God and pray this week, taking in the things around you together with his Word. Read the text and look around you, reflecting on what he is building in and around you.
Thank God for the work he has done in your life and among BT Church! What he has accomplished will be sustained for eternity. He is the ultimate Creator and Builder.
In prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to help you see his active work in your life.
What is God CONSTRUCTING in you still?
Are there areas of life where you struggle to maintain control? If so, ask for forgiveness and his grace to surrender more fully. It is his work that will be perfected.
PRAYER STARTER: Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the hand of God in and around me. Help me fully acknowledge and believe that what he begins in me he will finish. Lord, you will supply for the needs of your children, and you will sustain and build Your Church! My work apart from you is nothing, but you allow me to be useful to you. Thank you that...
