Life is complicated and sometimes we find ourselves in weird situations. Have you ever had to help out someone who has wronged you? You struggle with what you should do until you realize that God has called you to walk in integrity and to honor Him in all that you do.

We can ruin our next when we rely on our past experiences, when we trust our own judgement and fail to consult God. We ruin our next by making “NOW” decisions while ignoring our present God.

Have you ever done something that ruined your next? I think we can all answer “YES” to that question. Would you have thought twice if you had been warned that there would be consequence to making that decision?

Just like Joshua, God will sometimes call us to follow Him in ways that don’t make sense or seem possible. We need to remember; with God ALL things are possible.

In today’s passage He stops the flow of the Jordan River so that the people could cross on their way to Jericho. However, Joshua did not have to do anything himself, the water stopped flowing as soon as the feet of the Levitical Priests touched the water. This passage shows us that we are to move with God.
